Update on the house-Haus Zwischenbericht

Urspruenglich hatte ich ja eine grau-gruene Farbe fuer das Haus ausgesucht und als sie dann probeweise an einigen Stellen ausprobiert wurde stellten wir alle einstimmig fest das kein Kontrast zur gruenen Wiese und Bueschen entstehen wuerde.Mir fiel dann ein das unser Haus im New England Rot sicher toll aussehen wuerde.Und so ist es!! Wir ( und auch die Nachbarn) finden es sieht klasse aus! Noch ist es aber nicht fertig.Es sieht aber super aus!!
Originally I had chosen a grayish green color as the new look for the house.But after the paint was put on in various spots we realized that this would not have enough contrast to the green lawn and other surroundings. And since our house has the barn style of New England I chose the barn red which is well known here.We ( and the neighbor's) think it looks great!! It's not done yet, but it looks so stunning!
