Krank-Not feeling well

Tobias and I are both not feeling well. I can't move and he has a temperature and feels yucky.Sigh....
Tobias und ich sind beide krank.Ich kann mich nicht ruehren und er hat Fieber und fuehlt sich elend.Seufz...

Carina turned 16- Carina wurde 16!!

Carina feierte gestern ihren 16.ten Geburtstag und sie war ganz gluecklich diesen Meilenstein begehen zu koennen.In USA ist es wichtiger fuer ein Maedchen 16 zu werden anstatt 18.Sie feierte eine Party hier bei uns mit 25 jungen Leuten aus ihrer Schule, es gab allerlei Leckeres, u.a.diesen Schokoladenbrunnen, an dem besonders Tobias interessiert war.Alles in allem ein Erfolg fuer sie und fuer mich ein Missgeschick als ich waehrend der Feier die Treppe herunterfiel, mir mein Steissbein anknackte und mich nun so gut wie gar nicht ruehren kann( liege auf der Couch)denn ich habe mir den Koerper sehr geprellt.Die Heilung wird etwas dauern laut Arzt.So ein Pech!!
Carina celebrated her 16th birthday yesterday and she was very happy to have reached that milestone now! She had a party with 25 of her friends from school here at home.They had lots of goodies to eat , among the favorite's , esspecially for Tobias, was a chocolate fountain.All in all a huge success.Unfortunately during the party I fell down the basement stairs and hairline cracked my tailbone and my whole body is severly bruised so that I am hardly able to move right now.According to the doc it will take a while to heal.Too bad!!!!!!

Besuch-Visitors

Anika und Carina haben Besuch von 2 Schwestern die so alt sind wie sie und die sie im Sommerlager kennenlernten.Sie bleiben uebernacht denn es sind paar Tage schulfrei.Sie alle lieben es Wii zu spielen und haben viel Spass dabei.
Anika and Carina have 2 girls, sisters, over for an overnight visit.They are the same age as them and they met in summer camp last year.We have a few days winter break and they love hanging out and play Wii.They have a lot of fun with it.

Feeling of spring- Fruehlingsgefuehl

Ich habe mir einen Strauss Narzissen gekauft.Sie gehen jetzt so schoen auf und vermitteln das Gefuehl das der Fruehling bald kommt.Leider truegt es.Heute sind hier minus 10 Grad C und trotz Sonnenschein ist es bitter kalt.
I picked up some Daffodils for myself and they are blooming so nicely now and give the feeling of spring is around the corner.Unfortunately that is not the case.Today it's 14 F here and even though the sun is shining it is bitter cold.

Hier ist Maya- This is Maya

Das ist Maya, eine junge Huendin aus dem Sueden der USA.Sie gehoert einer neuen Bekannten von mir die vor kurzem ihren Mann verlor und keine Kinder hat und Maya adoptierte.Leider arbeitet sie den ganzen Tag sodass Maya immer allein ist tagsueber. Und da ich unsere verwoehnten Hunden eh jeden Tag ausfuehre, kommt nun Maya 1-2 mal die Woche zu uns und verbringt den Tag hier, wie im Kindergarten.Sie ist total happy wenn sie hier rumrennen kann und spielen.Sie ist noch sehr jung und hat sehr viel Energie.Sie ist so goldig!
This is Maya, a young dog from the South.She belongs to a new accaintance of mine who lost her husband recently and since she has no kids she adopted Maya.Unfortunately she works all day long and Maya is alone the whole day.I am taking our spoiled dogs for a long walk every day and I decided to take Maya in 1-2 times a week like in a doggy-daycare.She is so happy running around and playing outside.She has lots of energy since she is still very young.And so cute!
