On Saturday we decided to hike to the town-owned blueberry field where you can pick the berries for free. The hike is about 40 minutes long, but we didn't mind. One of the rare opportunities to do something with the whole family plus the girls dad! Even the dogs had fun, although our old Lady just barely made it.
Am Samstag machten wir uns alle gemeinsam auf zum Blaubeerfeld der Stadt wo jeder umsonst die Beeren pfluecken darf.Allerdings muss man vorher 4o Minuten durch den Wald wandern was uns nichts ausmachte.Es war eine Raritaet mal wieder etwas mit der gesamten Familie plus R. zu unternehmen und selbst die Hunde hatten ihren Spass.Unsere alte Lady kam aber kaum noch mit!

Wow! That is a huge blueberry patch. I'm glad my patch is just a little one, but your hike and blueberry picking day sounds like great fun. Much more relaxing than feeling like the blueberries must be picked. I spent hours picking berries today and there will be more tomorrow. My freezer is overflowing!
